Sharpsafe disposal bins: approved containers for the disposal of medical sharps. We stock Sharpsafe bins in 1 litre to 30 litre capacities and with yellow, orange and purple lids.

• Translucent lids with a visible fill line
• Clear waste segregation instructions on front label
• Sizes 9 litre and above have a horizontal aperture allowing larger implements to pass through
• Vertical openings on the smaller sizes
• 1 litre bin has both a disposal opening and a needle removal opening

Lid Colour Codes:

• Yellow: Infectious sharps for incineration
• Purple: Cytotoxic sharps for incineration
• Orange: Infectious sharps for incineration or alternative treatment
